Finding the Matheus Rossetto replacement

Alright boom Matheus Rossetto replacement time.

Criteria:

Rossetto is very good at 3 things.

1. Successful dribbles

2. Accurate passes

3. 1st,2nd,3rd assists(mostly 2nd and 3rd)

Rossetto is very good at getting out of pressure, which is very good when playing out of the back. One mistake back there could cost us the game. Rossetto is also very good at passing the ball accurately. If you might be one of those people who thinks Rossetto is useless because he only passed backwards and sideways…. listen closely. Rossetto does not want to lose the ball back in our half of the field so he makes easy passes instead of launching them forward and starting an opposing counter attack. Next, he’s very good at 2nd and 3rd assists. This comes from him passing to the fullbacks or Almada, then they’ll either assist a goal or they’ll pass it to the player who would make the assist.

Now that we have the criteria, let's find the players using @BeGriffis(twitter) scouting tool.

Ok, 3 things before we start, when I finished putting in the filter for Rossetto, one MLS player stayed with him. It was Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Sebastian Berhalter (yes he is the son of that Berhalter). I would’ve included him in the list but he just signed a new deal with Vancouver.

Next I wanted to see what Premier League player matched what Rossetto was doing and there was only one player, Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa.

Lastly, I don’t know much about these players. I will be putting Transfermarkt information below their radars but.. Yeah these are just players that match the criteria.

Here is Matheus Rossettos' radar. Like I said before, you can see that he is very good at: smart pass percentage(because he doesn't attempt many), short and medium pass percentage, second assists and successful dribbling percentage. He also is pretty good at progressive passes but I digress.

Our first player here is Alvaro Fidalgo (26 years old). He is a DM for Club America. He’d cost a pretty penny but he’d be worth it. His value is 7.0m but he’d probably go for 8-10 million. You can see that he’s 100 percentile (the best) in: progressive passes, progressive carries and acceleration with the ball. He’s probably the best player on the list because of how balanced he is at everything.

Our next player is Jurica Prsir(23 years old). He currently plays for Gorica in Croatia and like Fidalgo, he’s a DM. His Transfermarkt value is 2.5m. You can see on his radar that he’s more defense oriented than Fidalgo but he’s still really balanced like Rossetto.

The next one is Leo Stulac(29 years old). He plays for Palermo in Serie B. His value is 1 million. His radar is very interesting. He’s really good at some things and really bad at some things.

Next player is Monchu (24 years old and passes the name test). He plays for Real Valladolid in LaLiga 2 and his value is 5 million. With that value he MIGHT be a DP.. I'm not completely sure. As you can see in his radar, he is a very good passer. He’s not very good at defense but it’ll be ok.

The next player is Matias Rasmussen (26 years old) from Union SG. His value is 1.2 million. Looking at his radar you can see that he’s pretty good at almost everything besides short and med passing percentage.

Honorable mention: Ignacio Miramón is a 20 year old who WAS at Gimnasia but has now gone to Lille. I think us getting him on loan is unlikely but we can still dream. His radar is lovely. Not terrible at passing and is good at everything we need him to be good at. He would be a great get but like I said before it is very unlikely.
