The 2’s start their season this Saturday vs Orlando City B. Let's go over what the team will look like and the players you should watch.
Predicted First Team Lineup
(this will be changed a LOT, the 2s almost never use the same lineup twice):
Players to watch:
Ashton Gordon (‘07 Wing): Gordon is probably the player with the most potential on the 2s. He is a spectacular player and could be with the first team next year if he progresses well. He’s an extremely fast and technical winger, he can get past any defender and he can strike a ball insanely well.
Adyn Torres (‘07 DM): Torres is up there with Gordon, he also has insane potential. Torres is a super physical midfielder. He might be young but he’s still gonna get in your face after he tackles you. He rarely loses the ball but sometimes makes mistakes in possession.
Erik Centeno (‘02 Wing): I think this is a make or break season for Centeno. He needs to have a good season or I don't see him getting his option exercised. Centeno is an extremely direct and speedy winger, he can also put in a good cross. I really hope to see him do well this season.
Matias Gallardo (‘02 AM): Performed well during the first team preseason. Can he replace Firmino?
