Atlanta United vs Nashville SC match review

Writer: Atlanta MirrorballAtlanta Mirrorball

Wow what an absolutely dominant performance from the fellas. 3.88 xG with eleven shots on target, and a whopping seven big chances (missed four). Miles Robinson in his first two games back has been absolutely phenomenal, providing two clean sheets and even a goal. Also, credit to Brad Guzan getting a clean sheet on his tifo night.

Thiago Almada was absolutely sensational yet again, scoring a beautiful chip and providing two assists, which should have been at least four with his NINE chances created. I made a video recapping all of that and more on YouTube (and twitter: atlutdjames) so like and check it out.

Matheus Rossetto was also a huge factor, creating space in the build up, and flashing his fantastic technical ability when he dropped a dude on the ground.

Speaking of technical ability, new signings Xande Silva and Saba Lobzhanidze BOTH scored which blows my mind. I wonder when the last time two wingers scored in the same match. Welp I just remembered that happened at Charlotte away, oh and Portland at home too.

Caleb Wiley was also a dawg so remember that. Tristan Muyumba also took a step back from his performances vs Cruz Azul and Seattle, but hey Mukhtar sucks and could not score a sitter.

All in all one of the best matches i have watched and I AM SO READY FOR WEDNESDAY.
